This summer have your skater participate in our weekly 3 on 3 "Beat the Heat" games at the RecPlex in Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin, and weekly off-ice core conditioning at HolAthlete in Lindenhurst.
About Beat the Heat
This fast paced half ice game is a real hit among the players and spectators. The game is similar to half-court basketball. Upon change of possession, the puck must be cleared outside the blue line with all offensive players touching up prior to becoming involved in the play.
The goalies compete as individuals and stay extremely busy, facing dozens of shots (possibly 30 or more) in the short 5 minute period
Each week new teams will be chosen, with a 'top team/goalie of the week', determined in the last game of the night.
holAthlete Academy off-ice conditioning
Every week, the professional trainers at holAthele will focus on off-ice core conditioning to reduce injuries and stay in peak physical condition for the entire season.
• 6 On-Ice 3 on 3 sessions @ Rexplex
• 6 Off-Ice Core conditioning sessions @ HolAthletic
