Michael grew up and played hockey in Northern Illinois with the Deerfield Falcons and then with Chicago Young Americans.  During high school and college he worked with Turcotte Stickhandling Hockey School working up to head instructor the last few years. After graduating from college Mike has coached at all levels of youth hockey in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
